If this is your first time completing a program such as Boot Camp, we would like to welcome you to our team and thank you for making the decision to participate. By doing this you have made the choice to lead a balanced & healthy lifestyle.
The Aim of Boot Camp is to enable you to actively participate in a form of training that uses group participation and teamwork. It’s designed to motivate and encourage you to push yourself harder and further then you have before. We all work as one to take you one step closer to achieving your fitness goals.

What is Boot Camp?
Boot Camp is a fun, motivating highly exhilarating military style outdoor training program designed to challenge all aspects of your health and fitness. It is 4 weeks of intense training that will give you serious results.
Your Boot Camp Program consists of 12 sessions run over a 4 week period.

Do I need to be fit to do Boot Camp?
Of course not, that’s why you are coming to Boot Camp. On day one of the course we will put all recruits through a Basic Fitness Assessment allowing us to cater for all fitness levels.
What sort of results will I get?
The physical benefits from Boot Camp include increased fitness (Cardio) levels, reduced body fat and increased muscle tone. The results gained however are not only physical. Many recruits also sleep better, have more energy and in some cases feel more confident and motivated in all others areas of their lives. Many recruits use Boot Camp as a kick start to achieving a healthier lifestyle.
Why is Boot camp different to other fitness programs?

- Safe program design with no contraindicated exercises drills or circuits.
- A focus on quality with instruction and execution of all exercises and drills.
- Your instructors don’t only challenge and motivate you physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
- You will feel and see the difference (even) in the first to weeks.
What will I be doing in Boot Camp sessions?
You will perform activities including but not limited to;
- Squad Runs (all together as a team) stair climbs, jogging, hill training.
- Functional Body weight strength sessions, with strong focus on correct exercise execution.
- Specifically designed Mission Days to challenge individuals and teams physically, whilst also promoting team work.
- BFA = Basic Fitness Tests – gauge ‘Where you are at’ before, during and after the program.
Is Boot Camp safe?
Safety is a priority for Whitlam Boot Camp. We take every precaution to ensure that you are safe at all times. All our Instructors carry first aid kits and are trained to use them. We encourage every recruit to manage their own personal safety by wearing suitable exercise clothing, shoes and maintain safe levels of hydration during exercise. Each recruit is required to complete a Pre-Exercise Questionnaire and where it is necessary will be advised to obtain a medical clearance prior to commencement.

What do I bring to Boot Camp?
You will need to wear comfortable workout gear with appropriate shoes you can run in. Also bring a full water bottle and a small towel for afterwards. You will be issued with a Whitlam Boot Camp T-shirt on your first day.
