With so many group fitness options to choose from at the Whitlam Leisure Centre, there's sure to be a class that's right for you. Whether you choose aerobics, boxing, circuits or something else, you'll find there's nothing better than group fitness for motivation, encouragement, networking and making new friends.

Body Attack®:
A high energy, high-impact class designed for those with a medium to high level of fitness. This class is pre-choreographed and follows a basic move format, but it is a very high intensity and challenging workout.

Body Balance®:
Is the holistic yoga, tai chi and pilates workout that builds your flexibility and strength, and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a structured series of moves help you achieve a state of harmony and balance.

Body Pump®:
The ultimate barbell workout with all the benefits of weight training using adjustable weights in a friendly environment and set to great music. It is recommended that you attend a Body Pump® technique class, free of charge prior to attending.

Body Combat®:
Is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as; karate, boxing, tae kwon do, tai chi and muay thai.

Grit™ Cardio:
Is a 30-minute high intensity interval training workout that features explosive high impact movements designed to burn fat and improve athletic capability.

Grit™ Strength:
Is a 30-minute high intensity interval training workout that takes you in to overdrive to go hard, push harder and get you fitter; super-fast. The short sharp demanding exercises combine weightlifting, running and plyometrics for a full body workout that increases aerobic capacity, strength, muscular endurance, metabolism and power.

Is the ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. With dynamic training that hones in on your abs, glutes, back, obliques, and ‘slings’ connecting the upper and lower body. CXWORX® will leave you looking good and feeling strong.

Box Fit:
Build basic fitness boxing moves into heart-pumping combinations. Participants will use hit pads, focus mitts, speedballs and other boxing training equipment, working individually and in pairs. Perfect for bringing a buddy along.

Great music inspires you through a range of riding terrains enacted through the use of resistance and variable speeds. Entry-level options are encouraged along with intense power training for the elite. No coordination required.

A 45-minute intense cardio bike workout, you will be guided through challenging courses whilst being able to control your own resistance and speed.

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of people towards joy and health.

Challenges you with fun and impact-free exercises. This class uses water resistance for strength combined with a cardiovascular component for toning and fitness. Shallow Aqua is held in water where you can touch the bottom. Deep Aqua is held in water where you can’t touch the bottom and a buoyancy belt is worn to keep you afloat.

Focus on cardio fitness, which tends to decrease with age. This group workout offers an encouraging and friendly environment that motivates you to achieve.

Improve everyday living with a warm and welcoming program specifically designed to enhance strength, stability and balance. A workout based on resistance training, this program will help strengthening muscles and joints to give better mobility and greater confidence.

Easy Fit:
A low impact aerobic style class designed to improve strength, balance and overall health. This class is suitable for those with stable chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, hypertension, osteoporosis, joint replacement or those who have previously lived a sedentary lifestyle.

Stretch and Relax:
Relax the body and mind, a holistic fusion of meditation and relaxation techniques whilst being guided through a series of stretches.
